What it does
The Time Zone Converter shows a date and time in several time zones at once, with daylight saving handled for the exact date you choose. Use it to schedule meetings, plan calls or check when a deadline falls for someone abroad.
How to use it
- Set the Date and Time, or click Now.
- Add cities or zones with Add a city or time zone…. The first one is the source time.
- Read the converted time in each place. Copy gives a ready-to-paste summary; Remove drops a row.
Example
A call at 15:00 in London on 21 October 2026:
| Place | Local time |
|---|---|
| London | Wed 21 Oct, 15:00 (BST, UTC+1) |
| New York | Wed 21 Oct, 10:00 (EDT, UTC−4) |
| Karachi | Wed 21 Oct, 19:00 (PKT, UTC+5) |
| Tokyo | Wed 21 Oct, 23:00 (JST, UTC+9) |
Two weeks later, after the clocks change in Europe and the US, the same London time gives different results, which is why the date matters.
Good to know
- Europe and North America change clocks on different dates, so for a few weeks each spring and autumn the gap between them is an hour different from usual.
- Time zone abbreviations are ambiguous: IST can be India, Ireland or Israel. Choose cities rather than abbreviations.
- Zones and daylight saving rules come from your browser's up-to-date time zone database.
